Homer’s Odyssey is the classic hero’s journey, telling of Odysseus’ trials and triumphs on his path back to his home Island of Ithaca. It’s an account which has been an endless source of inspiration to many through history.

Sometimes we need to go away to understand ourselves better, to grow, and (re)discover parts of ourselves. And then return home.

Ulysse retreats will take you and guide you on your own journey home.

Returning to nature, and to yourself, while everything has been arranged for you. Our unique experiences will silently and seamlessly guide you on your own path. Just like the goddess Athena acted as a guide to Odysseus.

Grounded in many different traditions, Ulysse retreats are a unique opportunity for you to relax, have no commitments, and be in a safe space where you don’t have to make too many decisions. That way you can focus on yourself, connect with other lovely people, and enjoy the beautiful natural world around us.

Creativity then comes unimpeded.

Cultivating creativity this way can be a transformative experience, as well as your ultimate holiday!

Mens sana in corpore sano.

‘A healthy mind in a healthy body’. To restore and revive the creative flow, staying healthy is essential. For that reason, we carefully craft each experience, so you can move, nourish, and nurture yourself.

Revive and move.

Movement is essential, and our 360 degree approach will give you a plethora of daily options you can choose from: yoga, running, hiking, HIIT, swimming, or even horseback riding. Whatever suits you and your body.

Nourish and nurture.

We always work with our retreat chefs to design a cornucopia of balanced, nourishing dishes for our guests. We try, wherever possible, to source all seasonal food from local producers. We believe that food can change your life, from your mood and energy levels to a healthy, steady mind.

The body, just like the mind can heal on its own, if we let it. So if that is what you need, there is always plenty of free and quiet time for self-care and rest. Nurture yourself.
